Custom License Plate Art - Answers to Your Questions
Residential and commercial artwork and art commissions are the main component of my portfolio. This includes site-specific commissions like my work creating artwork for the national restaurant chain, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews, as well as personalized works for smaller businesses and private clients across the country.
How do license plate art commissions work?
Most commissions begin with a simple description of what you are looking for. These can be submitted to me through my License Plate Art Request form. I then set up a phone interview with you to discuss the details. I may ask you for a more detailed description of your commission request, depending on the scope of the project. Once we arrive at a general direction, and size, I can give you the cost of your artwork. All custom artwork and commissions are paid in full at the start of the project.
Can you give me some examples of past commissions?
Please visit my Custom License Plate Art page.
Do I get to offer feedback during the process?
Absolutely. Feedback is encouraged throughout the interview process. If the license plate art is for an individual, It reflects what is special to them, who they are and where they are from. If it is a commercial commission, it is driven by the needs of the client.
Is there a minimum budget for commissions?
Most custom license plate art commissions start at $850 and go up depending on the amount of detail in the piece, and the types of license plates required.
When can I expect delivery of my commissioned artwork?
Commission times vary from a few weeks to several months, depending on the scope of the project and my schedule. If the license plate art is time sensitive, such as for an upcoming birthday or anniversary, let me know. I will work it into my schedule whenever possible.
Can I commission a site-specific license plate artwork?
Yes. I am happy to work with you to meet your site's specific needs.
